Maxus - A brand from England but brought by Shanghai Saic Motor in 2009. In Hong Kong Hiace and H1 are the top-selling Van in Hong Kong market, there are others like Benz Vito, Volkswagen Transporter. Since Maxus is new in this market, to share a piece of cake in this market, we need to think a creative way to make noise in social.  

TASK: Get Van's drivers to aware of this new brand by using celebrity making social noise.

In this task, I suggested using Michael Chow (周文健), he is well known in the target group and he was a long time not appear on public, people know him and miss him. So we invited him to promote Maxus by using his famous character City Hunter (城市獵人) in our social video.

And the result showed that It was very successful, many media share the video and the client got the result they wanted.

This was the first project work with Maxus, they need to present a new image, and high-cost performance is their great selling point. Their sale of automobiles is at a low level, and hence the promotion budget is limited.

TASK: Get Van's drivers to aware of this new brand by promoting 80 reasons to buy Maxus by using eye-catching colour graphics style. 

For the first promotion with limiting budget, we used sharp and eye-catching colour as the whole design concept, applying it professionally and flexibly on different promotional materials, trying to bring the visual impact by a direct and fast approach to capture consumers’ eyesight and arouse their attention of the brand.
